Luv's Brownies' CEO Conducts Cooking Demonstration During World Famous 'Chocolate Show', Lands Feature in Pastry Art & Design
SAN JOSE, CA (PR WEB) November 29, 2006 - - Luv's Brownies CEO Aundrea Lacy is still reeling from celebrating her company's 10th anniversary with a party at Jay Z's New York 40/40 Club and her cover story in the November 2006 issue of Black Enterprise magazine. The young Bay Area entrepreneur returned to New York this month where she exhibited and marketed her famous brownie cakes during the largest annual chocolate affair in the U.S., the "Chocolate Show" held November 10-12, 2006 at New York's Metropolitan Pavilion & Altman Building. Lacy hosted a brownie cooking demonstration during the "Chocolate Show," though she guarded her successful proprietary recipe closely. Additionally, Pastry Art & Design - the premier trade magazine for pastry and baking professionals - will feature Luv's Brownies in its February 2007 issue.
The "Chocolate Show:" The world-renown "Chocolate Show" is held annually in Paris, New York, Tokyo, Beijing and Moscow. For three days, the New York festival was devoted entirely to chocolate -- candies, cookies, pastries; cooking tools, even dresses and accessories made with chocolate.
Exhibitors ranged from small, artisinal chocolatiers to large commercial manufacturers of chocolate and chocolate-friendly products. Lacy took her rightful place along side renowned pastry chefs from around the world during her brownie cooking demonstration in one of the event's two culinary theaters. Designed for the public, the "Chocolate Show" drew over 30,000 people to visit more than 65 chocolate exhibitors during the three-day show.
